Introduction

This blog will contain monitoring reports on the performance of Senator Grace Poe on the Greens PH's  ACTIONS FOR CLIMATE CHANGE AGENDA. 

This agenda covers the following items:

1. Ensure that low-carbon, climate-sensitive and sustainable development pathways are upheld in national and local policies, plans. actions and projects.
2. Push climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction as an overall framework for determining priority for the General Appropriations Act (GAA) for the next five years.
3. Promote nationwide research, sharing & replication of community best practices on local climate change adaptation measures; with priority on eco-agricultural practices to counter increasing threats of food production shortages.
4. Ensure broader public education and participation in community-level climate change adaptation planning, mobilization and consultation on national positions in the ongoing global climate change negotiations for a stronger global accord.
